Mode of Selection (Total Marks: 1175)
Stage I: Shortlisting (GATE Score)
Candidates are shortlisted 10 times the number of vacancies based on their valid GATE Score (2023, 2024, or 2025). (Weightage: 750 Marks)
Stage II: Skill Test
Practical-based and technical test commensurate with the job profile. (Weightage: 250 Marks)
Stage III: Interview
Assesses subject knowledge and communication skills. (Weightage: 175 Marks)

Instruction (How To Apply Online Form)
Application Mode
Applications must be submitted **ONLINE ONLY** through the MHA website (www.mha.gov.in) or NCS portal (www.ncs.gov.in). No other mode is accepted.
Application Window
The portal was operational from 2025-10-25 to 2025-11-16. Registrations outside this period will not be accepted.
GATE Score Submission
Candidates must achieve qualifying cut-off marks in GATE 2023, 2024, or 2025 in the relevant discipline (CS or EC).
Fee Payment
Payment can be made online until the closing date or offline via SBI challan until 2025-11-18 (banking hours).
