ELIGIBILITY & AGE LIMIT

Nationality

Must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan (refer to PDF for refugees).

Age Limit (As on 01 Oct 2026)

Calculate Age

21 to 27 Years. Candidates must be born between 02 Oct 1999 and 01 Oct 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification

Minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB (3 years professional or 5 years integrated). CLAT PG 2025 score is mandatory for all applicants.

Shortlisting

Shortlisting of applications will be based on the Integrated Headquarters of MoD (Army) criteria and CLAT PG scores.

SSB Interview

  • Shortlisted candidates will undergo a 5-day SSB interview at Selection Centres (Prayagraj

  • or Kapurthala).

Medical Examination

Candidates recommended by SSB will undergo a medical board examination.

Pay Structure

As per 7th Pay Commission

Government Pay Scale

Pay Scale (Lieutenant)

Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500) plus MSP (₹15,500) and other allowances.

Tenure

Initially for 10 years, extendable by a further period of 4 years.

Training

Duration: 49 weeks at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
