Mode of Selection
Stage 1: Computer Based Examination (CBE)
Objective Type Test (100 Marks, 90 minutes). Negative marking of 0.50 marks.
Stage 2: Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT)
Qualifying in nature (includes running, long jump, and high jump).
Stage 3: Typing Test on Computer
Typing speed test (30 WPM English / 25 WPM Hindi). Qualifying.
Stage 4: Computer (Formatting) Test
Test of basic computer functions (MS Word, Excel, etc.). Qualifying.
Stage 5: Document Verification (DV)
Verification of documents and medical examination.

Instruction (How To Apply Online Form)
Step 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)
Candidates must first register on the official SSC portal (ssc.gov.in) to obtain their OTR number.
Step 2: Login and Apply
Log in to the SSC portal and click on the 'Apply' link for the Head Constable (Ministerial) Examination.
Step 3: Fill Application Form
Fill in the application with personal and educational details, including the required typing proficiency choice (English/Hindi).
Step 4: Upload Documents
Upload a scanned signature and a live photograph (as per SSC specifications).
Step 5: Pay Fee
Pay the application fee online (Rs. 100/- for applicable categories) by the fee payment deadline.
Step 6: Submit and Print
Submit the final application form and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.
